Welcome to the Oak Hill Student Ministry page! We are committed to creating an environment in which students want to return. The purpose of Oak HIll’s Student Ministry is to share the love of God with students, to help them connect and grow in their personal relationship with God, to connect and build relationships with other believers, and to go impact the world for Jesus Christ. To learn more about the Student Ministry and get plugged in, check out the links and info below.

Wednesday night JAM is a time for our students to come together to worship and learn more about the God that loves them. It’s also a time for the students to grow together in the body of Christ. JAM starts at 6:45 and goes up until 8:15. It includes a time of worship, games, testimonies, a message from God’s Word and time to connect and build relationships with others. This is the BEST way to get plugged in with us!

Sunday School

Sunday School is a time for our students to come together in a smaller group setting. A great time to connect with students of their own grade and gender. It is time spent studying God’s Word on a deeper level.

SWAT is an accountability, discipleship, and drama ministry for middle and high school students. The ministry is designed to challenge students to a deeper level of commitment to their Christian walk.

Students and leaders are held accountable for their words and actions, they are required to spend time with God each day and adhere to specific standards of conduct with demonstrating a Godly lifestyle.

Drama is used as a creative tool for the students to share their excitement about living for Jesus

SWAT meets weekly on Sunday afternoon at 4:00-5:30 in the JAM room.

If you are interested in joining feel free to stop by one Sunday and see what we are all about.

Meet our Staff

I grew up in Fayetteville, Ga and was a student at Oak Hill. In high school I felt called into ministry and upon graduation I spent 3 summers working as an intern at Oak Hill with the student ministry. I graduated from Point University in December of 2016 with a degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Youth and Family Ministry and soon began working at Oak Hill as the Assistant Youth Minister.

I strive to have a positive impact on students lives with the gospel and connect them to Christ.
